I’m alive. This is going to be a sorry excuse for a post but its long overdue so I figure something IS better than nothing. I’m sparing all the shitty stuff, trust me and thank me later ;)
Thanks to Topamax I get less migraines but now all carbonated drinks taste like ASS. That means no more Sugar-free Red Bulls or Diet Cokes. Let’s just say I have been CrAnKy. And it affects my memory and thought process, two things I did not need help with.
We just bought a new car yesterday. I haven’t had a car payment in three years, I’m having some anxiety, but she’s pretty. The man will be driving her more than me because he will be commuting to Miami for work. But it has a moon roof, wheee. I refused to let him get the mini-van he wanted. I wasn’t feeling it and if we were going to make a hefty payment, it was going to be something I liked/wanted damn it.
As I sit here I am surrounded by too many new books from Amazon. It’s out of control. My newest order came today which included books on technical writing. There are 8 of them directly to the right on the end table, five on the floor under the table and eight tucked in an Amazon box with 15 stacked on top of that under the window right to the side of me. Seriously. I should so be smarter by now.
School ended on June 3rd – we now have a 2nd grader, 8th grader and 11th grader. The teenager is in summer school for two weeks to make up an algebra credit from *last* year which kinda sucks. Ok, so the man has been doing the morning shift and thats the worst part, but still.
I have a love hate relationship with my contacts. I only recently needed to start wearing them fulltime and its been one big pain in my ass.
My sister is getting married. Friends, internet at large – this is a freaking MIRACLE people. And she is going to drive me crazy by then without a doubt. She already is. I am the blessed Matron of Honor. But seriously, he is sweet and the kids adore him as he does them and that is most important. I’m not quite sure he knows what he is getting into, but he will surely find out ;)
Today is June 13, its 3 years today since my beautiful niece Brooklynn left us way too soon. I can’t bring myself to write about it… I am going to borrow this post that says it all.
