I have been feeling blah and burnt out.
Last week the Teenager got himself suspended for *five* days for getting into a fist fight in English class. His punishment was having his wisdom teeth removed. Ok, so thats not entirely true. It wasn’t punishment, he needed to get them pulled anyway and why not do it while he is home for 5 friggin days.
The Girl Teenager got herself into a world of shit too. I swear they time it perfectly – one after the other. I might believe that if they even liked each other. Or maybe, just maybe, it is worth it to them to hatch a plot to drive me to insanity in spite of them not liking each other. [Stop laughing Mom, I know its pay back...]
Medical bills and prescriptions are kicking my ass in a bad way. With insurance. The brunt of them are the Man, he’s falling apart on me. Yesterday was our 8 year anniversary. That means we passed the 7 year itch. But meanwhile it feels like 28 years anyway.
I need a vacation on a tropical island with all my books and fruity drinks. No BlackBerry, no email, no work, no kids – none of it.
