This, That & The Other

in Randomness

Do I know myself or what? I knew I would not post here *every* day. But, I am trying to post more frequently, therefore, I only half failed that resolution ;)

We picked up the Man’s truck from the shop and now my car is in the shop. The good news, I have a rental. The bad news (aside from the bill to fix my car) is that the rental has to go back tomorrow :( I took it for a trip to see my parents, in Fort Lauderdale, because my Dad was having a procedure today. I loooove it.

The Man called to tell me he had a message on his business number to call back the police department a town over. When he called them back they informed him that one of his customers had died earlier that day from natural causes. He was 90+ years old. The Officer told the Man they found our invoice in his mail and they wanted to let us know so we wouldn’t continue to maintain his yard/landscaping.

I admit, I found it incredibly nice of the Officer to take the time to notify us. The Man really liked him, he was always nice and definitely not one of his customers that nags him daily. Yes, he does have customers that call daily and complain but thats another story entirely.

I just want to go on record as saying – if one more thing breaks I am going postal. The truck, the tractor, my car – I’m over it. Done.

Did I mention I don’t want to give back the rental car? It has a sun roof! I want a new car with a sun roof.

I’m tired.

Sunroofs are the best! I used mine today for the first time in weeks and it felt so good!

No more broken things, k?

What kind of car did you get to drive? There are days where I wish I could drive around in a car instead of a big SUV. Those damn kids, they ruin everything.

That’s so sad about your customer. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that nothing else breaks.
