It’s been CRAZY this week already. School shopping, shots, registrations and more shopping (and I hate to shop if it’s not online ;)). Not to mention I have one child in each school – 6-year-old (Elementary-1st), 13-year-old (Middle School-7th) and the 15-year-old (High School-10th).
I was *dreading* shopping with the Girl because we usually fight. But, we had a very nice time and we didn’t fight at all (gasp). I even offered up an apology for being wrong (double gasp). Usually, shopping with the Teenager is easy peasy but hell no (must be my karma for misjudging my daughter) not this time. I wanted to kill him at the start. There was no way in HELL I was letting him get half the crazy shit he wanted. Toward the end he calmed down and realized he wasn’t gonna win ;)
I finally caved and got the Girl a cell phone. It’s only $9.95 more a month to have her on my bill. She broke it the first day – seriously. The Man went down yesterday and they gave her a new sim card. Now the 6-year-old is begging for a cell phone and that isn’t gonna happen anytime soon. I’m crazy but not that crazY.
Now on to the little things that brighten up my craziness. Weeds is back on. If you haven’t seen it, you must. It’s crazy and I just LOVE Mary Louise Parker. I love her character and her facial expressions.
Oh and has anyone seen Big Love on HBO? My parents were here visiting one weekend and they were watching it. Shocked the shit out of me (especially my Dad – trust me). It’s like a train wreck - but you have to look. It’s insanity on so many levels… and I am addicted, but of course. I watched season 2 on demand and then I had to go to Blockbuster to rent season 1.
I have been having several technical difficulties with my work. I am in the middle of a massive redesign of my main site (looooong overdue and procrastinated away) and my head hurts. Not to mention I am cranky from missing my caffeine and carbs :(

I watched the first season on Big Love and LOVED it, but then we had to cancel all our movies channels. I should probably go rent season 2.
Gah! That of course should say OF big love not on. Ha.
Big Love is one of the best shows on t.v. I got my husband hooked on it last season. Nicki is a trip, isn’t she. We’re gearing up for school here too. I’ll have one in middle school, one in high school and one in college. They all start on the 27th and we move my son into his apartment next weekend. Aaaahhh! We just added Showtime to our lineup and I am definitely checking out Weeds. Everyone has been going on about what a great show it is.
