Happy New Year!! I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!
I am glad the holidays have passed and now its time to start putting away all the evidence. I got all the decorations down inside the house. I still need to undress the tree and the Man needs to take care of the outside stuffs.
Christmas was nice. No arguing, time spent with close friends/family. Good food and wine coolers consumed (ahh, the memories). Santa was good to me. I got the treadmill I have been wanting, lots of smelly stuff from Bath & Body Works and other goodies.
Monday was spent at the doctor with the little one. He’s been sick for what feels like forever. He has also been having a hard time hearing. The doctor is unsure if he has a chronic ear infection OR allergies. So, we went for bloodwork. Naturally, he wasn’t thrilled about them taking his blood and he jerked his arm, therefore knicking his vein. Then they had to do the other arm. Good times. He survived and got a personal pan Pizza afterwards.
I have so much stuff to do that I feel slightly overwhelmed. The kids have giftcards to be spent. I have work to do, tax stuff to sort out, stuff to clean, doctor appointments… the list goes on an on.
We just watched Karate Kid with the seven-year-old. Wax on, Wax off. Can you say O-L-D? I was 10 when the movie first game out!!
The best part of today you ask? (ok, you didn’t ask but I am going to tell you anyway…) The Teenager made chicken cutlets for lunch, yum. And the Man is cooking a pork tenderloin in the slow cooker. Me? I am on the couch in my favorite pajamas with my laptop, working on my websites/blogs. Feeling warm and fuzzy from the painkiller I took for my sore neck that I hurt while sitting on the couch…. don’t ask. I’m a mess.
That’s all folks. Lots to say about nothing ;) I Hope you have a Happy and Prosperous New Year. In case you are wondering, one of my resolutions is to post more frequently on this blog. Poor you.

Happy New Year! I’m dismantling and packing up Christmas right now myself. :)
Sounds like you had a lovely Christmas. :)
Mmmmm…tenderloin. It’s morning now and that STILL sounds good.
Happy, Happy New Year to you!
Karate Kid has got to be one of the most inspiring teenage movies out there. Forget the pain killer, I remember feeling all warm and fuzzy when I watched Daniel Son fight his final match lololol. . . Those were the days weren’t they.
Thanks for the flashback!
Happy New Year, Friglet! The tree is at the curb and all things Christmas are tidy in the attic until next time ;)
Happy New Year, Smizzo! The tenderloin was delicious ;) He was hoping I didn’t like it because he is afraid I will make him “cook” more LOL.
