Randomness

I was in Fort Lauderdale visiting my parents this weekend. I had a great visit with them, my sister, niece and nephew(s) and I made money, good money while working on my projects (there is a funny story in here but that will have to wait, I’m tired…) - what more could a girl ask for?!

I asked the Man to get down some of the Christmas stuff from the attic while I picked the Girl up from her friends house. To make a long story short, while we were pulling boxes out of the attic the 7-year-old was climbing all over the Man’s truck. Twice I told him to stop and get down.

Of course he didn’t listen, I was distracted and he ended up falling. He is sooooo damn lucky he wasn’t seriously hurt. He fell on his back and he has 3 scrapes. THANK  god he didn’t hit his head or break break a bone. It did knock the wind out of him and then he started to panic. As I was trying to calm him down, he flung himself to the left and elbowed me in the lip/jaw – OUCH, instant headache.

I wish you could see how dramatic he was about it all. Sure, it hurt, but he IS a character. I live on the wrong Hollywood Boulevard. He could be making some serious cash for his college fund if we moved out to California ;)

I feel asleep on the couch for an hour and the Man woke me up to tell me to go to bed. Now I am wide awake in bed with my laptop. I refuse to work although I have stuff to do. In the meantime I popped a muscle relaxer for my sore shoulders and I am catching up on blogs – the good, non-internet marketing/non-business related blogs!

Where did the year go? I can’t believe its almost over already. I tell ya, there is never a dull moment around here and yet, it could be so much worse.

The man is snoring so freaking loud I want to put a pillow over his face and suffocate him to shut him up. And he wonders why I don’t lay in bed with my laptop more often. I seriously wish you could hear him, good god.
