Your MIL is an idiot. I don’t do very much work from home, but I do a little. I also have had four kids to shuttle to four different schools and it’s always pissed me off when “working” moms assume I can watch their kids because I “stay at home”. I wish I could stay at home!

Tasha – Vegas in March is doable. Now that is a vacation! Can’t we all meet up and make a week of it ;)

My Mom came home today, thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, they are much appreciated!! For the most part she is doing well and I forced her into taking some time off from work to rest and relax.

I know another WAHM mom, and it’s not easy for her, either. I’m not sure why so many people think it is. I only do a VERY small bit of blogging work from home, and even that gets hard to keep up with from time to time.

Chrissie, You need a vacation. A real vacation (read: not merely an escape from the man or a business related trip). I don’t how you do it. I have been thinking about starting my own business for years. In fact, that was my New Years resolution – to get serious about starting that business. But here I sit working for the man every night and day(not my man, I’m quoting Proud Mary). You MIL and other offenders need to realize that work is work. What difference does the location make? Grrr!
