Oh how I have missed this blog and my friends!
The past few weeks have been busy, busy, busy! Everytime I start to write here I get annoyed by the design and I procrastinate (so unlike me, I know). So, tonight I decided to do a post and over the weekend come up with a new theme or buy one - something new.
The seven-year-old had surgery last Tuesday. He had his adenoids removed and tubes put in both of his ears. The first day was a little stressful on both of us. The morning of the surgery I didn’t eat anything because the little guy couldn’t have anything. But I did have my coffee ;) Long story short while visiting him in recovery, I nearly passed out. Talk about scary, thank god the Man noticed I didn’t look so good and the nurse caught my arm. She put me in a chair with some good ole’ OJ and a cookie.
That night I got the *worst* migraine I have had in a long time. Migraine auras included, talk about timing. Needless to stay we both stayed in bed all day and napped and watched movies. By the next day we were both back to normal. And we had a good time feeling miserable together LOL
On Sunday the teenager turned 16!! Holy shit where does the time go?! He had a nice birthday - time with friends and family. My parents were here for the weekend which was great. The Girl managed to get herself into a boat load of trouble, but of course. While talking to my best friend yesterday and venting about it, she reminded me that I was worse. Pfft, I don’t think so, she can bite me ;)
I have so much going on in every aspect of my life that I can’t even begin to get into. Trust me, you should be thanking me. Let’s just say some of it is very good - some is stressful and some - is what it is…
The Man went to the doctor yesterday and he’s falling apart I tell ya. I need to up his life insurance policy ;) Has has some tests he needs to have done and blood work - all that great stuff. But nothing appears to be too extremely worrisome, thankfully.
I need to get a ton of work done tonight and I am feeling unmotivated. I want to read, not work. And I am watching Celebrity Apprentice. Tomorrow I am heading down to Fort Lauderdale for the weekend. Lots to do. This was a lame post, I promise to write a better one over the weekend and I will hopefully be sporting a new design.

Did they take the tonsils too when they took the adenoids? Ethan is getting close to needing his out…. well according to the medical professionals he is “close” as far as I’m concerned he should have had them out last year because they are always swollen and he snores like a buzz saw.

No, tonsils, just the adenoids. He never had a throat problem, just constant congestion and fluid on the ears. Thats why they removed the adenoids.
Poor, Ethan, I hope they take them out soon! Being sick all the time sucks. I was as a kid too, they finally took my at 12 ;)

Welcome back! I’ve been on an unplanned blogging break too. We’ll have to come back together full force! :)
How is your little guy doing now after his surgery? Poor thing. :( My youngest had tubes put in and it was a rough couple of days for her.

New designs are fun!
Hopefully things will calm down for you really soon. Stress (and headaches) are no fun!

We want a new design miss thing! LOL That’s so weird they didn’t just take the tonsils while they were in there to prevent any future problems (since they take adnoids when they go in for tonsils I just figured it would work the other way around too LOL)
