Happy Turkey Day

We are in the car on the way to Fort Lauderale. Tonight will be spent at the In-laws and tomorrow at my parents.

I am sooo excited - my MIL made me lasagna for dinner… Not. I know she’s trying, but its hooooorrible. In fairness, I’m Italian and I grew up on homemade sauce by my Mom & Grandma. So maybe its me, but I don’t like it :(

As usual we left late and we are in bumper to bumper traffic. But the kids are quiet. I haven’t eaten all day except for a RedBull and I’m starving… Maybe that will help with the lasagna and it won’t be so bad ;)

The teenager is mad at us because we won’t let him get a Spider Monkey. I wish I was kidding, and we are talking pouting and being an ass. Whatever, like I don’t have enough stress!

I left my laptop at home, I feel naked. But, I have the next best thing - booooks so I will make it.. Maybe ;)

I am drinking a whole bottle of wine tomorrow and maybe tonight.. Ok kids, carry on. Have a great Turkey Day. See you Friday.

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I’m also Italian and know exactly what you mean. We’re having Ziti and Egg Plant Parmesan for Christmas, want to come over?

We did have a great Thanksgiving. I am also so grateful to my daughter for staying late so my grandson could help me with the things that are so high up in my kitchen and new quilting room. It looks so great.

Smizzo & Peggy - I am so glad you both *get* it. The lasagna was ummm, not so good. I was so hungry that I ate some but…. ;) Peggy, next year I am coming to your house!

Mom, we did have a great Thanksgiving. I am glad Joey was able to help you get some stuff done!

Crazy isn’t it?! He’s still talking about it. He really needs to get over it.

And the girl wants a bearded dragon… Not. I’m happy with my dog. This isn’t the zoo ;)

Hi there, it is 12/3 and I do not see any new writings. I am missing my fix of Chrissie.
    Love you.
